Basic White Cake/ Add Coloring to make Checkers


1 1/8 cups of butter (1 cup + 2 Tablespoons)
2 1/3 cups sugar
5 egg whites
1 can evaporated milk
1 tsp pineapple extract
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 Tablespoon baking powder

Method
1. Beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until still peaks form. 
2. Cream the sugar and butter for about 5 to 8 minutes
3. Mix all dry ingredients together.
4. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture a little bit at a time along with milk. Mix with the hand mixer.
5. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 3 layer pans
6. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 3 minutes

Butter Cream Frosting

1 1/4 cups of butter (soften)
4 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 t vanilla extract
3 Tablespoon milk
